The importance of fatigue

Tennis game is pretty complex combination of: the movement patterns which brings the players to the strategic position (towards the ball or related to the opponent) and the decision making process of stroke execution and reaction. Based on that, fatigue shouldn’t be regarded as the one dimensional physiological outcome of the training process

Overtraining to burnout

Burnout presents negative psycho physiological response to the physical activity, most often as a result of the excessive, extreme and frequent training and competition demands. Symptoms of the burnout are low self esteem and confidence, low levels of energy at the training sessions and low response to the training demands and towards the training goals
